When I found out that my blood pressure is high I started to recall my lifestyle. I stop enough my favorite food which is chicken. I change to vegetarian diet. And I sleep early. I also control my salt intake since I like eating salty junk foods
When I checked my blood pressure, my blood pressure returns to normal. I really thanks God for this. I will continue my vegetarian diet.
I am overcoming my high blood pressure now through good diet, eating fruits and vegetables, execises and eliminate meat in my diet to control my blood pressure.

Vegetarian Diet
Now, so hard to choose when ordering food because I change my diet to vegetarian because i am so afraid that my blood pressure will rise up again.
During morning time before working I ordered soya milk, rice and raw vegetables. during lunch time papaya salad with sticky rice and some fruits. And during dinner only fruits.
Now i noticed that my blood pressure lowered down to 126/89 mmhg.

Blood Check August 20, 2013-126/86 mmhg
My blood check for August 20, 2013 is 126/86 mmhg. I maintain my diet only fruits and vegetables everyday. And I believe it really works.

Blood Check August 19,2013 -124/70mmhg
I checked my blood pressure today and good news it is 124/70mmhg. My diet is effective. No more meat in my diet, plainly fruits and vegetables and some fish.

Blood Check-140/100mmhg
When I started working it is hard to prepare food at home since time is limited so what I did is eating outside my work. Chicken barbecue in the morning during breakfast. Chicken noodles during lunch time and fried chicken in the evening for my dinner.
This is my routine menu for almost 4 years. And suddenly i felt dizzy, i check my blood 140/100 mmhg. So i think because I am so stress from work and do overtime work so that is the reason why my blood pressure is high.
Then I check my blood again, it lowered to 130/100 mmhg. So I think it is ok. And I don't feel worry anymore since I can control it.
Continue my lifestyle on and on.

My Unhealthy Lifestyle
My unhealthy lifestyle contributes to my hypertensive stage. Since I started working, i never eat vegetables unlike when I was in college because my school in college is a vegetarian school. So we eat healthy foods, more fruits and vegetables.
Now, my eating habits makes worst because I always eat chicken during breakfast, lunch, and supper. No more vegetables in my diet. If not chicken beef noodles, etc.
Aside from this, sleep late at night, and over time work. It seems that I forgot that I am a nurse and I have inherited disease.

First Blood Check-Normal
First blood check up. My blood pressure is normal 120/70 mmhg. I am very confident that I cannot inherited hypertension since my blood pressure is normal.
I was still at my college year years during my first blood measurement and I am taking nursing course.
Hypertension-My Hereditary Disease
One of my hereditary disease is hypertension. Whether we like it or not it is already in us since from my ancestor. They all died when the same cause-heart attack and stroke.
One of my fears is having this. I don't want to experience this but I am prone for this since it will be inherited from generation to generation.
My grandfather died with heart attack, he is dead on arrival at the hospital. My other grandfather still suffered the same. One of the bad moment I experienced is my father. He died with a stroke. He is also dead on arrival of the hospital.
